There is no plastic lamination (no BOPP, no PET), no synthetic coating, and no plastic window. This means the entire box can be recycled in standard paper waste streams without separation — and in the fully compostable configuration, it will biodegrade in home composting conditions within 3–6 months.

Q: Can you print white or metallic ink on kraft paperboard? A: Yes. While kraft’s natural brown base limits the brightness of CMYK alone (similar to printing on brown cardboard), we achieve excellent results using opaque white under-base printing followed by CMYK overprint — the white layer creates a bright canvas on the kraft surface. Metallic gold, silver, and copper Pantone inks also print beautifully on kraft, creating a striking contrast against the natural brown background. For the most vibrant results on kraft, we recommend single-color or two-color designs using opaque inks rather than full photographic CMYK.
